Noted attorney (1870-1954) and White House Chief of Staff during the Wilson administration. Vintage matte-finish 9 x 13 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To my old and valued friend Gene Buck, with the deep affection of his friend, Joe Tumulty, Washington D.C., January 1925.” Framed to an overall size of 10 x 13.5. In very good condition, with several creases to image, a few words of inscription light, but legible, and scattered silvering to image and background. Buck was a Broadway producer and the longtime president of ASCAP from 1924-1941.
