Jazz saxophonist (1909–1986) known for playing with Horace Henderson, Stuff Smith, and Jimmie Lunceford. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Thomas playing his tenor sax, signed and inscribed in black ink “To June, may you enjoy the best life has to offer, Sincerely, Joe Thomas.” In very good condition, with mild scattered creases, moderate rippling to the top and bottom edges, and slight irregular adhesion to the inscription and signature.
