Basketball player (1900–1970) widely regarded as the best center of his era. ALS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Kinney Shoe Corporation letterhead, no date, but postmarked December 11, 1969. Brief letter reads, in full: “If we can arrange a mutually satisfactory time — okay. I’m your guy.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, with Lapchick printing his name in the return address area.
