Former pilot and decorated military officer (born 1928) famous for holding the records for having the highest, fastest and longest skydive and as being the first man to make a solo crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in a gas balloon. Four items: color glossy 8 x 10 photo of Kittinger performing his record-breaking skydive from an altitude of over 80,000 feet, signed in black felt tip; and three different FDCs honoring ballooning, each signed in black felt tip. In very fine condition.
