Think again, effendi! A full decade before Peter Parker first waggled a web, Professor Hugo Durando discovered the dread secret of transforming a man into a giant, slavering arachnid. A rip-roaring tale of horror and revenge, including one of the coolest transformation scenes in comics ("Hands... feet... bending queerly... strange hair... other things happening... I-I'm getting more bent!"), this is a great example of the over-the-top style that typified Harvey in the 1950s. In excellent condition, the pages measure approximately 15" x 22" overall, with the title page alone being worth the price of admission! Don't pass up this murderous masterpiece! <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
