In part: “Here is the autograph you ask for: and why can’t people write plainly to us poor…folk of the quill? Ten to one this goes to the dead letter office, and then back to me. For I can’t make out your address and so can only copy it.” Light creasing, toning, and a brush to his first name, otherwise fine condition.
