As is it was many years ago part taken off under beak, this hand sculptured by Joachin (Joachim) Burcheron Lariviere is an original wood duck decoy over or near 100 years old and still captures attention; it's about 6 high x 12 inches long x nearly 6 wide; and is worthy, valuable; which is now antique with such original paints and with great patina; the artist who travelled in California and Quebec and Ontario where he died in Canada many years ago, his works of art and decoys have sold over $6,000.00 US ! Collectors seeks and keep Joachin Burcheron Lariviere original wood duck decoys and other sculptures such as a moose as well as his paintings of forests, lakes, rivers... and they treasure them in their collections and rarely are they offered to be appreciated again on the markets; the AOAV represents now the estate and the AOAV-musee decommission these now to offer them for sale in this extraordinary attic-find treasure for you to enjoy !
