Jimmy Wynn's game-used circa 1969–72 Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger R161 personal model baseball bat, engraved on the barrel with his facsimile signature. The flame-burned ash bat measures 36˝ long, weighs 34 ounces, and has his number ("24") written on the knob in black felt tip. The bat exhibits excellent evidence of use, including a repaired handle crack, many ball marks and stitch impressions, and a light pine tar coat to upper handle. Accompanied by a letter of grading and authenticity from PSA/DNA. Wynn packed a lot of pop into his 5´ 9˝, 160 pound frame, and was a true five-tool player for Houston. Despite a season-long slump in '71, he still averaged 23 homers and 18 stolen bases per season in the 1969–1972 span.
