American blues musician and songwriter, notable for bringing his distinctive style of blues to mainstream audiences (1925–1976). Vintage glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo of Reed posing with his Kay guitar, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “Jimmy Reed, To Joe.” In fine condition, with light scattered surface creases and impressions. Reed is exceptionally rare in signed photos—this is the first we have ever offered.
