As a presidential candidate, Carter writes Bob Sowa of New Hampshire. “I enjoyed being with you again & really appreciate your friendship, your confidence, and your good criticism & advice. I’ve told my friend Oral Roberts about your admiration. He is really a fine man—& so are you!” In fine condition, with a block of light uniform overall toning and two small tape remnants to top edge. Carter is notably scarce in handwritten correspondence.
