1930's Jimmie Foxx & Lefty Grove Signed Baseball. Though this OAL (Harridge) ball would almost certainly command better than $30,000 were the 9+/10 blue ink sweet spot signature from Foxx alone in the world, the addition of an equally strong Lefty Grove autograph on the side panel should, in theory, only up the ante. The Hall of Fame pair was key to the success of the second great Philadelphia Athletics dynasty, which Connie Mack led to World Championships in 1929 and 1930. Nonetheless, fans of singles will note from our catalog photography that the Foxx does indeed present as one. The ball itself remains pale as fresh milk and presents beautifully with an occasional minor scuff but nothing that distracts the eye. A wonderfully high-grade specimen that would be right at home in the finest of baseball collections. LOA from PSA/DNA.
