Super desirable vintage 4 x 6 Track Records promotional photo card for the Jimi Hendrix Experience that dates to September 1967, which has been signed in black ballpoint, “Love, Jimi Hendrix.” The original recipient, Brian Hodgson, has also written his name on the card. The reverse lists various Track Records releases: "Hey Joe / Stone Free," "Purple Haze / 51st Anniversary," "The Wind Cries Mary / Highway Chile," "The Burning of the Midnight Lamp / The Stars That Play with Laughing Sam's Dice," and "Are You Experienced (LP)." The consignor dates the signature to the period that the card was issued. In very good condition, with overall creasing, and a stain to the lower right corner.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the previous owner: “Brian, the other signature on the card, was working—travelling on the road. Needing to fuel up he pulled into a garage at the same time as Jimi Hendrix. Not believing his eyes he walked over to him saying ‘Hey, are you Jimi Hendrix?’ That’s how Brian got the autograph. Brian’s wife, knowing I was a big Jimi Hendrix fan, kindly gave it to me. I asked her if it was definitely okay with Brian and she assured me it was.”
