Vintage leather-bound autograph book, 4 x 4.75, beautifully signed inside on the same album page in blue ballpoint, "Noel Redding," "Love Jimi Hendrix," and "Love, Mitch, xxx." Other notable signatures inside the book include Cat Stevens, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Graham Nash. In fine condition. Accompanied by a modern reprint of a photo of Hendrix sitting backstage with Cat Stevens, Humperdinck, and Gary Walker.

Accompanied by a handwritten letter of provenance from the son of the original recipient: "This autograph book belonged to my mother…and I can confirm that she obtained the enclosed autographs while she worked at the Gaumont Cinema in Worcester, U.K. My mother worked there during the 1960's and 70's and part of her duties was to work back stage whenever there was a concert on. During these times she got to meet many big acts, including the Beatles, Rolling Stones and the late, great Jimi Hendrix. The autographs of Jimi Hendrix and his two bandmates were obtained backstage by my mother after a gig they played at the Gaumont in Worcester, in April 1967." Also accompanied by a photo of the recipient posing with Humperdinck prior to a show at the Gaumont. Alongside other emerging acts like Humperdinck and Stevens, the Jimi Hendrix Experience embarked on their first UK tour in support of the Walker Brothers in April 1967, with the group performing two shows at the Gaumont Cinema in Worcester. This tour took place only months after Hendrix had formed the group, and coincided with the release of the trio’s second single, ‘Purple Haze,’ which they performed the night these signatures were obtained. There’s some amazing footage of Jimi performing ‘Purple Haze’ live at the Gaumont. A superlative set of Jimi Hendrix Experience signatures with impressive provenance, from the tour that introduced Hendrix to British audiences for the first time.
