Huge vintage ballpoint signatures, "Be Groovy, Jimi Hendrix, Experience," "Cheers, Noel Redding," and "Good Luck, Mitch,” on the reverse of an off-white 7.75 x 5.5 Swedish radio playlist page. Beautifully double-suede-matted and framed with a color portrait of the group to an overall size of 20 x 29.5. In fine to very fine condition. An absolutely magnificent signature set—they don't get any better than this!

Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL, as well as a detailed provenance statement concerning the circumstances of the signing at Swedish Radio in Gardet, Stockholm on May 24, 1967. In part: "A doctor colleague, Sten Sundberg, supported himself through medical school as a photographer…On May 24th 1967, The Jimi Hendrix Experience played Grona Lund, an amusement park in Stockholm…After the concert The Jimi Hendrix Experience was going to record some songs for Richard Watkins' popular radio show on Swedish Radio and a bus was waiting at Grona Lund to take them…Sten and his friend just followed Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding onto the bus and were driven out to Gardet with them. When they arrived the Studio was occupied and so Sten, his friend and the Experience were forced to sit in the lobby and wait for the studio. They had a bottle of Johnny Walker whisky, which they proceeded to drink. Before disappearing into the studio Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding signed the back of a Swedish Radio play list."
