Title is The End of Night. 17 3/4" by 10" by 9". Jim Knight (1930 - 2008) is known for Sculpture. Knight, of White Sulphur Springs Montana, died Dec. 11, 2008. He was known for his authentic depiction of wildlife, nature and the cowboy. He sketched, sculpted and painted subjects as he viewed them, using his own perspective as his guide. Knight remained committed to his art and his unique style throughout his life, mastering all mediums. His oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pen and inks are as unique as his bronze sculptures. Knight’s artwork can be found in private collections throughout the country. Committed to preserving their father’s legacy, the children of Jim Knight are releasing a limited edition of Knight’s last sculpture. At age 78, Knight completed and signed what would be his final bronze. Aptly named "The End of the Knight," it is a detailed bronze sculpture of a cowboy on the range questioning the intentions of a rattlesnake.
