Color satin-finish 14 x 11 photo of Irwin saluting the American flag on the lunar suface, matted to an overall size of 20 x 16, signed and inscribed in black felt tip on the mat, “To Gen. Ken Irwin Curtis, with my very best wishes for your life, Jim Irwin, Apollo 15 (1971), High Flight Foundation, 30 Mar 1973.” In fine condition, with some scattered light soiling and dings to mat. Curtis was a longtime soldier and confidant of Douglas MacArthur during World War II.
