American singer-songwriter (1943–1973) who tragically died in a plane crash at age 30, his hit songs included ‘Time in a Bottle,’ ‘You Don’t Mess Around with Jim,’ and ‘Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.’ Felt tip signature, “Jim Croce,” on an off-white 6 x 4 card. In fine condition, with a uniform shade of toning, with some heavier areas along the edges. Signature originates from noted Hollywood collector Buddy George Marshall. A fantastic legacy from the acclaimed songwriter.
