Rare 1938 program for a Portland basketball game featuring a photograph of track and Olympic star Jesse Owens, signed on the cover in black ink by the ''World's Fastest Human.'' The game, on 24 January 1938, pitted the Owens-coached Olympic Colored Stars against the Signal Oilers and also included a half hour track exhibition by Owens. Just two years earlier, in Berlin, Owens won four gold medals at the Olympics. 5'' x 6.5'' program runs four pages. In near fine condition.
