Jerry Colonna's Trombone Mouthpiece in Shadowbox Display From The Joe Franklin Memory Lane Collection W/LOA - This framed shadowbox presentation contains Jerry Colonna's used trombone mouthpiece. Jerry Colonna was an American musician, actor, comedian, singer, songwriter and trombonist best remembered as the zaniest of Bob Hope's sidekicks in Hope's popular radio shows and films of the 1940s and 1950s. This piece was acquired from the collection of Joe Franklin, legendary American radio and television host personality, author and actor, whose show featured famous guests such as Andy Warhol, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Salvador Dali, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and countless others. Franklin had a love of collecting mementos and memorabilia from his guests, and would ask each guest to leave him a personal item, many of which would oblige. The piece will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
