AMQS penned on the title page of a hardcover copy of the score book Music in the Air: A Musical Adventure in Two Acts, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Lady Furness, with grateful regards, Jerome Kern," who adds two bars of music below. The book, 216 pages, 9 x 11.5, was published by T. B. Harms of New York in 1933. In very good to fine condition, with wear and sunning to the covers, and light dampstaining to the signed page, touching upon the AMQS. Heiress and actress Thelma Viscountess Furness was for a time romantically linked with Edward VIII (Duke of Windsor). Music in the Air, Kern's 1932 musical hit, featured tunes like 'The Song Is You' and 'I've Told Ev'ry Little Star.'
