From the Nick and Suzanne Nicholas Collection we have a Jemez Polychrome Seed Jar by Mary Small, measures 3.5'' x 4.25'', beautiful gray-white-and terra cotta geometric jar, Mary Small (Jemez) learned the art of traditional pottery making by assisting her mother, Perfectita Toya. Mary was schooled in the ''old way'' of pottery making, and has mastered the art of processing clay from the earth, hand coiling and then the outdoor firing. Mary and her husband experimented with natural paints to come up with her easily recognizable unique blue/gray slip and burnt red/orange designs. Mary Small is a very talented potter and she has created her own unique look to traditional pottery.

*** If an item is materially different than was described by the Seller, Buyer shall have 48 hours from the date the property is received to notify the Seller. After the 48 hour period all items are considered as is, without recourse. No buyers premium or shipping will be re-embursed on items returned for any reason.
*** By bidding in this auction you are entering a binding legal contract to pay for your items within 1 week of the close of the auction. Non payment will result in a non pay warning. Items not paid for upon the non pay warning, will be relisted for resale within 10 days. You represent that you are over the age of 18 and can enter into legal contracts. Any Bidder that has never purchased from us, may be asked for credit card information prior to Approval To Bid.
*** The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser, regardless of the time the bids were placed. In the event of a tie between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after sale, the Company's sale record shall be conclusive in all respects.
