This finely detailed pencil illustration was drawn as a study for the painted cover of "America's Nightmare Magazine," <B>Web of Horror </B></I>#1. Fantasy artist Jeffrey Jones rose to prominence in the early seventies as part of "The Studio," a stellar group of artists that also included Bernie Wrightson, Mike Kaluta, and Barry Smith. With his evocative work showcased in the Warren, Skywald, and <B>National Lampoon </B></I>magazines, Jones soon established his credentials as one of the top fantasy artists of the modern era. This piece has an overall size of 10.5" x 13.5".
