<B>Jefferson Davis Autograph Note Signed as Secretary of War</B></I> "<I>Jefferson Davis</B></I>". One page, 4.5" x 7", April 23, 1856, to O. H. Peck, Boston, with the usual fold creases, else a bright note in fine condition. Davis writes: "<I>With much respect your fellow citizen and obt. serv. Jefferson Davis April 23, 1856</B></I>".
