Jean Pouyat tea plates painted in random clusters of pink roses, leaf and trailing vine and bordered with a geometric shaped frame of tiny enameled bead work. Both plates exhibit the same florals motif, however each differ with their enameled bead pattern and border colors.

One has a pastel blue border with a tinged pale yellow squared six "petal" shape framed with enameled beads. The other is washed with a pastel green border and framed with enameled beading in the shape of "circle and spoke" on matching pale yellow. Both are highlighted with a fine burnished gold plate rim.

These plates were once part of a wonderfully detailed tea/dessert service. Both plates measures 7.75 inches in diameter and are rated to be in very fine condition.

J.P.L Mark 5, circa 1890 - 1932.
