French painter and sculptor (1901–1985) known for his authentic and humanistic approach. Extremely scarce original signed fountain pen sketch of two people on a bench and a man walking his dog on a 9.5 x 4.25 envelope from the Comodoro Hotel in Havana, signed “Jean Dubuffet Oct. 1950.” In fine condition, with mild toning. Accompanied by an original pencil drawing on a Comodoro envelope by Raul Milian, signed “A Maria O Milian.” According to the consignor, these works, apparently unrecorded, originated from a private collection in Havana.
