ALS, on the reverse of a 5.75 x 4 photo postcard of Rome, June 26, 1962. Letter to Mike Connally at the Hollywood Reporter. In full: “Thanks so much for sending me the press clipping on my picture. Send me more clips re. if you can. Two or 3 more weeks of shooting and we head for home. I’m rehearsing daily to do ‘The Twist’ with Maurice Chevalier.” A postscript witten by Mansfield at the top reads, “P.S. Of course the picture’s name is ‘Panic Button.’” In fine condition, with Mansfield’s signature circled in red crayon, postscript obscured by postal cancellations, and a pencil notation above address.
