Jay Cooke & Co. business check, 8.5 x 4, partly filled out and signed by Cooke, payable to Martha Burns for five pounds sterling, September 6, 1873. Check affixed to slightly larger card. Some mild toning, and usual bank stamps (away from signature), otherwise fine condition. The signature is clean and unaffected.
