10” X 17”. Interesting broadside announcing the sale of Northern Pacific Railway bonds by the banking house of Jay Cooke & Company, acting as fiscal agents for the railroad. The text outlines the details of the road’s construction and the bond issue. The entire verso of the broadside is a map displaying the route of the railroad. An great early bond offering by one of the nation’s largest banking houses of the period. One center fold, couple of very minor marginal tears. Very fine.
