Jason Heyward's game-used circa 2010 Marucci CB15-A Pro Model baseball bat from his rookie year, signed on the barrel in silver ink. The black-and-natural maple bat measures 33 7/8˝ long, weighs 31.6 ounces, and has "Handcrafted for Jason Heyward" engraved on the barrel, with his number "22" on the knob. Also stamped on the knob are the manufacture date ("7/08/10"), length ("4"), and weight ("2"). It is uncracked and exhibits excellent evidence of use, with ball marks and stitch impressions to the barrel, a moderate coat of Mota Stick on the handle, and an impression from a weighted batting donut. Accompanied by a letter of grading and authenticity from PSA/DNA, grading it as "PSA/DNA GU 8." The 20-year-old Heyward looked destined for superstardom after his rookie campaign with the Atlanta Braves, hitting .277 with 18 home runs, 72 RBI, and 11 stolen bases en route to an All-Star selection.
