A fine French garniture surmounted with a bronzed spelter nude figure with a rearing horse. This fine marble mantel clock was made in 1888 by the respected firm of Japy Freres, which was founded in 1877 and continued by his sons after his death. The Japy firm was the largest clockmaker of the period. Earlier the firm made and distributed full clocks and movements to other firms.
The clock is an 8 day movement with a bell on the hour and half hour. It has recently been cleaned and repaired and is in excellent working condition.

The clock is complete with pendulum and key and is in excellent working condition. No breaks or missing parts on the figures. More photos on request.
