Fine Japanese woodblock print signed Rakusan. Rakusan Tsuchiya (1896-1976) was a Japanese painter and woodblock print artist. This print belong to Rakusan's 100 Series (number 2) and depicts two large birds. It is signed Rakusan and identified by a title in Japanese, signatures in both English and Japanese, watermarks and a red seal, known as seal F, used in the first and second editions. The watermark corresponds to the second edition (1933-1941) as well. One of a pair listed separately (other print is from the same series, No. 83). In very good used condition as shown with toning consistent with age. Please ask questions, request additional photos and shipping costs before buying.
