Japanese Wakasashi or medium size sword in fancy traditional Samuri style mountings. Our consignor's father submitted to sword society for appraisal (30 years ago), (appraisal tag attached) who attributed maker to Sagat Sugo, 1681, which he cannot verify other than it is a sword of that age with unsigned - well patinaed tang. The blade is unpolished with aging and some pitting, and measures 18" in length approximately. Tsuba, menuki and scabbard are nicely matched - kozuka is missing. With silk bag. Est. $600-1200.

Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
