Japanese Type 14 Nambu 8mm SN: 22168
'For Parts or Repair' WWII era Japanese military striker fired semi-automatic service pistol chambered in 8mm Nambu, manufactured at the Tokyo Arsenal circa 1931. Features a blued finish, 4.7" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, fixed rear sight, rounded trigger, small trigger guard, knurled cocking piece, manual safety on the left side of the frame, magazine disconnect safety, push button magazine release, 8 round magazine, steel frame with lanyard loop on the rear and two-piece grooved wood grips. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel extension, magazine catch and magazine safety. No import marks. Pistol exhibits approximately 75% of it's blued finish showing some light surface rust and pin prick pitting. The action is smooth but nonworking as the pistol does not have a proper firing pin extension or firing pin spring and the firing pin itself appears damaged. The bore is bright with light rifling, and the wood grips are good with blemishes. Condition is for Parts or Repair. ***C&R Firearm***
