Jamieson, Kilbride, (fl. early 19th century) A LATE GEORGIAN MAHOGANY-CASED EIGHT-DAY LONG-CASE CLOCK, the hood with arched surmount above an arched glazed door between spindle-turned columns, the trunk having an arched door between half-columns, on a fielded panelled base with flattened bun feet, the movement, striking the hours on one bell, having an arched brass dial with engraved maker's name on a circular boss above a brass chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, framing subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the dial having all-over foliate scrollwork, 206cm, (81in) high (sold with two weights, pendulum and key) Est. £1800/2200
