Kemble, green cloth with extensive gilt decoration, gilt titles, top edge gilt, 12mo (4.75” x 7”), spine darkened with a small stain, boards toned at the edges, small indention on front board, contents sound and bright, very good; and <B><I>His Pa’s Romance</B></I></B></I> (Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1903), first edition, 168 pages, inscribed, incorporating a small doodle of the sun: “<I>To Erasmus Wilson, esq. With hale Christmas greetings of his always grateful and affectionate friend, James Whitcomb Riley.
