James Reid new model knuckleduster, .32 caliber rimfire, fluted cylinder with cast knuckle in grip, engraved iron frame, serial #18382. One of approx. 360 produced. The pistol shows approx. 50-70% original silver plate drifting at the edges and areas where the nickel has lifted show some light to moderate erosion, pinprick pitting, and darkening to the metal with no buffing and cleaning whatsoever. The barrel address is very sharp on left side of barrel and shows “My Friend” along with Reid’s information. The cylinder pin spring is missing. The action is working but not locking. A good specimen needing very minute repair and is in good untouched condition, whereas we have sold mint specimens for over $10,000. 8A-157 Flayderman. Old collection tag #270 attached. From the Robert Petersen Collection. Est: $1,500 - $3,000
