<B>James Otis: Twice-Signed <I>Historical Law-Tracts</B></I></B></I> (Edinburgh: A. Kincaid for A. Millar and A. Kin & J. Bell, 1761), second edition, 463 pages, full leather binding rebacked in new leather with a gilt titled plate affixed to the spine, 8vo (5.25" x 8.25"). Signed "<I>James Otis</B></I>" on the front pastedown and the title page. Otis was a lawyer in colonial Massachusetts who is considered one of the early American revolutionaries. This book is in about very good condition, with some edge, corner, and spine wear and toning around the edges of the textblock.
