He became an associate member of the RHA in 1969 and a full member in 1975. Formerly a Keeper of the RHA, he has also served as President of the Watercolour Society of Ireland. His work is represented in many private and public collections including the Cincinnati Art Museum and the Haverty Trust, whilst self-portraits hang in both the national collection in Limerick and in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. <BR><BR>
