Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 15 x 9.5, April 26, 1824. Monroe grants Thomas Keller almost 80 acres of land in Mississippi. Signed at the conclusion “James Monroe,” and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. Nicely cloth matted and framed with a seated portrait of Monroe and a small name plaque, to an overall size of 32 x 19.5. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, uniform light toning, some scattered light soiling, and Monroe’s signature just a shade light. The white seal is worn, but intact. Oversized.
