<B>James Madison and James Monroe Signed Land Indenture Document</B></I>. 15” x 8.5”, on vellum, December 1, 1811, signed “<I>James Madison</B></I>”, as president and “<I>James Monroe</B></I>”, as Secretary of State, with the seal of the United States still attached, for land sold by an Act of Congress for lands in the territory north west of Ohio.
