James Montgomery Flagg caricature sketch in pencil, pastel & watercolor, circa 1937. Large 8'' x 11'' drawing reads, ''You call Mori's slumming! Where do you think you are - Marseilles? I went there with your grandfathers! Lead on, Seniors!'' Written along bottom in pencil, also in Flagg's hand, ''Uncle Monty, guest of 'The Record'. Slight horizontal creases and mild toning, otherwise in excellent condition. An amazing rarity by the artist who personified America with his Uncle Sam creation.
