Three TLSs, one page each on individual sheets of 8.5 x 11 personal letterhead, dated April 1966 through May 1967, each letter is addressed to a Mrs. E. J. Connor, author of Who’s Who in America. The first, dated April 1, 1966, reads, in part: “I don’t know if this Mrs. Scottie Lanahan, whose article I enclose, interests you…She has been columning…for the Washington Post. I don’t find her terribly good, but as the daughter of the late F. Scott Fitzgerald, she may be up your street”; the second letter, dated May 16, 1966, reads, in part: “Just to advise you that my wife, whom you carry in Who’s Who in America as Florence MacBeth, died on May 5. Your courties [sic] to her, as well as your father’s, were most appreciated, not only by me but by her as well…”; and the third letter, dated May 22, 1967, reads, in part: “The time draweth near for you to make your annual pilgrimage to the woods.” In very good condition, with scattered mild to moderate creasing and soiling, and a small area of paper loss to the top left corner of the first letter.
