Flown circular 5? diameter swatch of Beta cloth bearing a 3.5? diameter mission insignia in the center, signed and flight-certified around the emblem in black ink, “Flown to the Moon on Apollo 13, April 11–17, 1970, James Lovell.” Double-matted to an overall size of 9 x 9. A pre-printed certificate of authenticity from Lovell is affixed to the reverse of the mat, stating that it was one of 450 patches listed in the Commander’s Personal Preference kit, and located in pouch part number SEB32100025-301, serial number 1016. In fine condition. A wonderful example desirably certified directly on the piece by the Apollo 13 commander.
