Picturing Lovell and Joe Garino, each wearing a NASA jacket with a President's Physical Fitness Council patch. Inscribed to Garino's wife, Dorothy "<I>To Snooky-/ Honest! I learned/ it all from your/husband./ Best Wishes/ James Lovell.</B></I>" Joe Garino was in charge of the astronauts' physical training. Dorothy had, at times, sewn the patches on various astronauts' flight suits. Lovell was Chairman of the President's Physical Fitness Council from 1970-1978. Photo lightly faded. Lovell was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom (1970) and the Congressional Space Medal of Honor (1995). <I>From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino.
