Signed and inscribed on the second free end page, “To my friend Jas. A. Vance, with best wishes from Jas J. Corbett.” Book also bears signatures of Thomas Sharkey and James J. Jeffries done in another hand (not by Sharkey and Jeffries). Autographic condition: very good, with well-done repairs to horizontal separations (slightly affecting a few words of inscription), small pencil notations to top edge, and a uniform shade of mild toning. Book condition: G+/VG, in VG+ custom-made red quarter-Morocco solander box.
