<B>James. H. Doolittle Signed Letter, Photograph and Ephemera. </B></I> One page,<B> </B></I>7.25" x 10.5", typed letter to Mr. Richard Calow, Los Angeles, California, October 18, 1972, signed "<I>J. H. Doolittle </B></I>". Light folds across page, top corners slightly wrinkled. Accompanied by a black and white photograph, 8" x 10", signed "<I>To Richard Calow: With kindest personal regards and every good wish. J. H. Doolittle </B></I>", stamped on verso, "<I>SPACE TECHNOLOGY LABORATORIES. INC. OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH 5679 </B></I>". Slight bending on three corners, small nicks on right edge. Included is a black and white photograph of Lieutenant Colonel Doolittle, with members of his flight crew and Chinese officials in China after he and his crew had bailed out of their Mitchell B-25 bomber over China following their air raid over Japan on 18 April 1942. The photograph is 8" x 10", on verso are the names of Lt. General Doolittle and his crew, with light stains and fading along edges, obverse is slightly bent on 3 corners, with several small indentations at top and bottom. Included is a page from the "<I>Kelly-Lackland Area Suburban News </B></I>", San Antonio, Texas, April 14, 1971, 11" x 14.25", acknowledging a visit by General Doolittle and his crew.
