Partial handwritten manuscript, signed in the title, “James Franck, Dept. of Chemistry, U. of Chicago,” titled “The photosynthesic conversion of light energy into chemical energy.” Part I of a longer manuscript deals with a “discussion of the assumptions on photosynthetic carbon dioxide reduction via photochemically provided reducing agents.” Several words of text have been underlined and transcribed. In fine condition, with central horizontal and vertical folds, two diagonal creases, and a mild shade of overall toning, a bit heavier along horizontal fold.
