<B>James Fenimore Cooper: Three Volume First Edition of <I>The Deerslayer</B></I></B></I> (London: Richard Bentley, 1841), first English edition, three volumes: volume I: 331 pages; volume II: 333 pages; volume III: 344 pages, original light green paper boards shelf backed in green tooled cloth with title plates on the spine, 8vo (5" x 8"), no dust jackets (as issued). All three volumes are in good condition, with bumped corners, edge wear, and foxing throughout the textblock. Almost all of the text from the title plates have rubbed off. Still, all three volumes have sound binding and bright text.
