Songwriter (1919–2001) best known as the credited co-writer of ‘Rock Around the Clock’ for which he used the pseudonym ‘Jimmy DeKnight.’ FDC with a cachet honoring Bill Haley, signed in black ballpoint, “James E. Myers a.k.a. Jimmy DeKnight, keep—‘Rocking Around the Clock,’” and adding on the flap, “The world’s number one song—‘Rock Around the Clock.’” In very fine condition.
