Depicts a side view facial image of Theodore Roosevelt with one of his favorite expressions of his Presidency "I wish to preach not the doctrine of ignoble ease but the doctrine of the strenuous life, the strife to preach hat highest form of success that comes, not to the man which desires mere ease & peace, but to him who does not shrink from danger, hardship, or bitter toil & who out of these wins the splendid ultimate triumph". The plaque measures 12-3/4" x 7". Very good condition. Weight: 12lbs. Theodore Roosevelt signature underneath his expression & James Fraser signature under the bottom lip of the bronze. A rare bronze of TR.
